Chairman’s Report 2011
First I would like to thank all the
people who helped on Friday and over the weekend with the loading and
unloading of the table tennis tables and setting out the surrounds etc.
I thank all the players who entered
the tournament this year and hope you enjoyed the facilities at the James
Hornsby School.
Congratulations to all the
tournament winners and runners up in their respective events, it was also
good to see improvement
in ability of a lot of players who
enter each year from the lower divisions .
I would also like to thank Ken
Field, the Chairman of Southend and District Table Tennis League, for
letting us hire the tables from Southend,
and also Jayne Johnson for setting
out the times and schedule for the tournament and also working so hard to
run the event during the whole weekend
Finally I would like to thank my
wife Linda for doing all the food for the weekend in the canteen, which was
appreciated by all who participated.
